The story of Gioielleria Martini began more than one hundred years ago just in the heart of Rome.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Giuseppe Martini started a jewellery store purchasing the most beautiful gemstones in the national and international markets and then reselling them to the general public. From his premises, that were situated in largo Goldoni and via Del Tritone, he sold diamonds, coloured gemstones, sapphires, rubies and emerald gems, as well as precious rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
In 1953, riding the wave of the post-World War II economic growth, he inaugurated Gioielleria Martini in Via Frattina 33 together with his children. Fostered by the economic development, his boutique became very famous both in Italy and abroad, and started attracting important regular customers, such as entrepreneurs, businessmen, actors and illustrious personalities who were deeply interested in buying high-quality jewellery, stones and silverware.
In the 60s, Gioielleria Martini started selling the most exclusive brands of watches too. In 1993, the store moved to via Frattina 26, where it is currently located and managed by the third generation of the family, who constantly strives to offer the same professionalism and kindness, in 2022 it will move to Via del Leoncino 12.
